This morning, a multiple crash on national route 12 of the Zárate Brazo Largo Complex, near the border between the provinces of Buenos Aires and Entre Ríos, left two fatalities and multiple injuries. The terrible incident took place around 6 in the morning, at kilometer 92 of the aforementioned road. Several vehicles were involved in the collision, including trucks, long-distance buses and private cars. As a result of the pileup, two people lost their lives at the scene of the accident, while several others suffered injuries of varying severity and required immediate medical attention. Witnesses to the accident point out that visibility was seriously affected by the presence of smoke, generated by grassland fires in the area. This limitation in vision may have contributed to the fatal accident.
