They arrested a man who had a body in his refrigerator

The remains of a murdered person were found wrapped inside a refrigerator in the missionary town of San Pedro, after which the police arrested the man who had been absent from that house a few days ago and had in his possession documentation of a teenager reported as missing

 

This was confirmed by police sources to the missionary press, stating that the justice system began a broad investigation that in principle attempts to determine the identity of the dead person, for which an autopsy is expected to be performed on Monday.

 

The body was found on Friday night in a house on Chaco Street in the town of San Pedro, where the police arrived summoned by a relative of Nelson Osvaldo Winnik, 41, who was worried because he had not seen him for several days. .

 

Upon arriving at Winnik's home, the relative detected a strong foul odor so he decided to go in to look for the man, but as he approached the refrigerator area it increased so he opened it and observed the body in an advanced state of decomposition. , wrapped in cloth and tied with a cable, the sources added and indicated that he filed a complaint with the court.

 

Apparently, the man had left San Pedro to undergo a medical check-up in the city of Posadas and since he did not respond to calls, his relatives became concerned.

 

The justice system sent the regional Criminal Division to inspect and protect the home, while the body was sent to the morgue to begin the investigations aimed at its identification.

 

In the middle of the investigation, Winnik was arrested on Saturday in the town of San José and, always according to sources, he had in his possession a document, a cell phone and a debit card belonging to a 16-year-old teenager, who is reported as missing since September 8.

 

Given this, Judge Ariel Belda Palomar ordered that the mother who reported her daughter's disappearance on September 8 at the San Pedro Women's Police Station be notified of the discovery of the objects to advance the investigation.

 

The magistrate also ordered that this police station, together with the Gender Violence Area, a social worker and a psychologist from Social Action provide support to the woman, until the whereabouts of her daughter can be determined
